1. Snoqualmie Falls – Snoqualmie, Washington

Snoqualmie Falls is one of Washington’s most iconic waterfalls — and it’s only 30 minutes from Seattle. With a free viewing platform and upper and lower viewpoints, it’s a perfect first stop on a Snoqualmie Valley day trip.

2. Twin Falls – North Bend, Washington

Cost: Discover Pass
Hike: 2.6 miles round-trip
Perfect For: Families & beginner hikers

Twin Falls is an easy, peaceful hike tucked inside Olallie State Park. The trail follows a beautiful river and leads to a multi-tiered waterfall that looks incredible after rainfall.

Travel Tip: You can visit both Twin Falls and Snoqualmie Falls on the same day — they’re only 15 minutes apart.


3. Franklin Falls – Snoqualmie Pass, Washington

Cost: Free
Hike: 2 miles round-trip
Best Time to Visit: Summer & fall

Franklin Falls is one of the most photogenic waterfalls in Washington, especially when flow is high. The trail is short and scenic, following the river until you reach the dramatic waterfall at the end.

Note: In winter the road is closed — this is best from late spring through fall.


4. Rattlesnake Ledge – North Bend, Washington

Hike: 4 miles round-trip
Difficulty: Moderate
